ahh summer break

Sorry for the delay in posts. As evidence of the yard/jungle i just mowed, ive been busy with mathematics curriculum work (9 hour days last week) and helping mel with sick babies. they are just getting back to normal after a bout with adenovirus. speaking of bouts. The boys are much more mobile and it's getting difficult to separate the wrestling matches as shown below. The eye-gouging, scalp pulls (not hair but actual head skin) and pacifier stealing are the most common causes of disqualification. We had friends visit yesterday and Brooks who is one of three triplets said to Cooper, "just wait until your brother starts punching you!"

I would be remiss if I did not include a photo and a thank you to Melanie's mother for the help since St Paddy's Day through the end of May. Having the boys stay home with her when both mel and i went back to work meant so much to both of us. Her help to us is immeasurable and i understand the sacrifices she made to be here for us and i appreciate it tremendously. i was a little hurt when she showed up after shopping one day with a mug that had the following printed on it; "my favorite people call me Nana." you see, I don't call her Nana. well, regardless, she is one of MY favorite people. thanks for everything. hope you are settled back in at home and know, you are missed.
